This is amazing

This Week's NY Times book section has a review of King's Dream by Eric J. Sundquist, a book about Martin Luther King's famous " I have a dream" speech. According to his research, the most famous lines of this great speech were not written in advance. He ad libbed them. That is just amazing! Read the review here.

The speech will be show in its entirety Monday at noon on CNN.

Remember George Raveling, the former Washington and USC basketball coach? He was just a teenager in 1963 when he was hired to supply a little muscle on the podium. When Dr. King was done with the speech, Raveling asked for the text of the speech, and Dr. King gave it to him.
